WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

Sade Solomon - Writing Support

Working with Dr. Drey on the completion of my book was the best investment of my time and money. What I loved most about working with her was the peace, release, and ease that came during my writing journey. During our time working together, she helped me to realize that I was fully equipped to finish my writing project. You don’t often realize what is actually hindering you from writing, Dr. Drey was able to target those areas and equip me with the tools to remove those barriers. Ultimately, she helped me to remove the mental and spiritual roadblocks that hindered me from moving forward. Dr. Drey carries herself with such grace in the work that she does with her clients. She made me feel special and seen which so vital to the completion of my writing project. Lastly, Dr. Drey equipped me with some simple but powerful tools that I still implement today in my other projects.

Dr. Gerrainne Hale - Life Coaching

I met Dr. Drey during a time in my marriage where I needed prayer and assistance to navigate the struggles we were facing. She was so kind, understanding and willing to step in and assist with genuine love and concern for not only myself but for my husband and kids as well. I love the fact that after each session she is timely with a follow up email to recap and remind me of the scriptures and the bullet points of what we discussed during the session. I also love that she is flexible with her session times and will always attempt to make herself available when needed. Dr. Drey is truly God sent!

Janel Dia - Lucylu & Gigi

From the moment my daughter picked up "I Like Myself: Lucylu and Gigi", she immediately identified with Lucylu. My daughter actually thought Lucylu was about her!  That's the power of great storytelling,  characters come alive, children as well as the childlike can see themselves in new ways and love themselves!

Dr. Jovanni Neblett-Bkackmon - The Ways of Grace

This book was a honest depiction of Alzheimer's and aging. The relationship between the mother and daughter was so realistic and beautiful. The book made you laugh ,cry , and everything in between. It showed life in its fullness with grace and love. I would recommend to all my patients, friends, family and anyone with an aging parent.

Ms. Alma Russell - The Ways of Grace

I really liked "The Ways of Grace" because it reminded me of the way I was brought up. Miss Grace in a way was a lot like my Grandmother and at the time I felt that she was being mean but now I can appreciate and love her more because even though I didn’t live exactly the way she wanted me to in the end I became the women I am today.

Dr. Angela Miles - Dissertation Writing Support

I would not have been able to complete my dissertation without Dr. Kharem's guidance and expertise! She was kind yet stern; holding my hand while holding me accountable throughout the entire process. She did this by assisting me with goal setting, time management, life/work balance and so much more. She believed in me and was truly invested in my success. I am eternally grateful for her patience and her prayers. I highly recommend her services.

Elisha Nixon-Cobb - The Ways of Grace

The book titled “The Ways of Grace” by Audrey Kharem is a stunning heart-felt collection of her mother’s experience with cancer and how she as caretaker learned to embrace Ms. Grace’s illness with grace, sensitivity, and caring. The author adds the unexpected ingredients of humor and laughter that opens the notion of caring for a loved one as an expression of love, mourning, and a time for truth-telling.  Kharem’s “The Ways of Grace” is a one-of-a-kind book that also offers practical helpful tips on how to take care of oneself while taking care of others.

Mike Jackson - The Ways of Grace

This book is a road map for the journey you will inevitably take when dealing with a loved one with dementia. It allows you to understand better but also teaches you grace. It will remind you of the things forgotten and the love that still remains.

Linda Wheatley - Writing Support

Over the span of many years, I have benefited greatly from the wisdom and council of Dr. Audrey Kharem. More recently, she guided me in the writing and publishing of my book Heart Tattoos: My Heart, His Canvas. Her skill, wisdom and insight were consistent throughout the duration of the project.

I am very pleased with its success and am enormously proud to proclaim that I could not have done so without her! At the onset of each counseling session, she devoutly acknowledged her Counselor-Holy Spirit, for His wisdom and guidance. I love this about Audrey and will continue to model her example.

Tracey Jackson - The Ways of Grace

When I heard about “The Ways of Grace”, I knew that I would purchase it to support my friend. I also purchased one for my sister-in-law who was the primary caregiver for her mother who was exhibiting signs of dementia. I had no idea that 2 years later my mother-in-law would come to live with us. I would become the primary caregiver w/help from my husband & his older sister. The book is a great tool for caregivers. We have to find humor in the situations that we have to navigate while providing care for a loved one.

The chapter “Forgiving Grace” was particularly helpful for me. Sometimes we may need to forgive the person when they are mean to us in words or actions. We may need to forgive ourselves when we get tired and frustrated w/the duties that are required of us. I am thankful that Dr Kharem wrote this book. The stories that she shares provides hope to anyone who is a caregiver. Hold onto those happy memories with your loved one. It will help you during the challenging times.
